A quick post to bring to the attention of my few readers an interesting Canadian politics site that I discovered only yesterday.

PoliTwitter is not a new site – it’s been around since 2009. It’s the creation of Trevor May, a self-described “super patriotic Canadian”.

What poliTwitter does is aggregate the Twitter, Facebook, blog and other feeds of any elected federal or provincial official in Canada who has any online social media presence. You can sort them by federal/provincial, by province, and by party. It allows you to see immediately what various politicians and parties are tweeting, blogging and generally discussing online.

So for anyone who’s still that interested in Canadian politics (sadly, I am not), you might find this site very useful, or at least interesting. It will certainly save you the trouble of having to friend them all on Facebook or follow them all individually on Twitter.
